Maroniteparchy

His Excellency Selim Sfeir, Maronite Archbishop of Cyprus will preside at a Divine Liturgy on Sunday, 1 February 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Grace (near the Paphos Gate).

His Excellency will officially confer upon the new Vicar General of the Archeparchy, the Very Reverend Abbot Joseph G. Lakkotrypis Michaelides, the Decree of Appointment and the Portfolio of Office.

The faithful of the Maronite Archeparchial District of Cyprus, and beyond, are warmly invited to participate in this special celebration, to the glory of Almighty God and for the fruitful exercise of this new ecclesiastical ministry for the salvation of souls.
